4. Mr. Snow Potato Head
Use two hands to make a ball or "potato". Use Mr. Potato Head items (arms, legs, mouth etc) and place them in your snowball or be creative and find items to make your own body parts.

5. Snowball letters
Stick, pin or write multiple letters/numbers/shapes on a solid surface (wall, tree, fence etc). Make snowballs and have the child throw snowballs to identify letters, numbers and/or shapes.

6. Scavenger hunt
Make a checklist with various items. Hide these different items within the snow and have the child find them.

8. Animal walks in the Snow

9. Snow maze
Make a snow maze in the snow. Have the child problem solve how to get from the starting point to the ending point. Mark the maze using snow paint to help the child stay on the path.

10. Colored snowball toss
Use different colored buckets or mark an area a specific color. Make different colored snow balls, then have the child throw the snowballs into the matching colored bucket or marked area.

*HOW TO MAKE SNOW PAINT*
Place water into a spray bottle. Place 4-5 drops of food coloring inside the bottle of water. Close the bottle then shake it well. If the color is lighter or dull, add another drop of food coloring.
